Lauren Ashley, LPC-MHSP
Lauren Ashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) designation in the state of Tennessee. Additionally, Lauren is trained in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Aggression Replacement Training, and Collaborative Problem Solving. Lauren graduated with her master’s degree in Community
Agency Counseling in 2011. She has significant experience working with pre-adolescents and adolescents, who are considered at-risk, and their families. Lauren has experience working with emotional and behavioral problems, adoption and foster care issues, learning disabilities, anger issues, communication/family relational problems, and parenting concerns.
Lauren also has experience working with mood disorders (such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder), grief/loss, emerging adults and phase of life issues related to the school/job transition experience, attachment issues, survivors of abuse/trauma, and common phase of life concerns.
When she is not busy seeing clients, Lauren remains as active as possible in the local dance community, teaching dance classes to children and adults. She also loves spending time with her husband and “furkids”, and devotes time to further her professional development.
