Kristi Poindexter, LPC MHSP, NCC
Kristi Poindexter, LPC-MHSP, NCC, has over fifteen years of experience providing counseling for children (ages six and older), teens, and adults. She works with individuals experiencing addiction and substance abuse.
She also works with anxiety, depression, change of life situations, relationship difficulties, trauma, and abuse to include both individual and family therapy. Kristi has worked in a variety of mental health settings including acute care, outpatient, psychiatric hospitals and residential facilities. She has received training in Collaborative Problem Solving and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Kristi is a proud graduate of The University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she earned a BA in Psychology in 2000, followed by an MS in Mental Health Counseling in 2003. In her free time, Kristi enjoys reading and spending quality time with her husband and her friends.
